Classification according to heat transfer principle

1. Direct contact heat exchanger

The main working principle of this kind of heat exchanger is that two kinds of media pass through the contact surface and transfer heat to each other to realize heat transfer. The contact area directly affects the heat transfer. The medium of this kind of heat exchanger is usually a kind of gas and a kind of liquid, which is mainly a heat transfer equipment with tower equipment as the main body.

2. Energy storage heat exchanger

This kind of heat exchanger uses less, the principle is through a kind of solid material, the hot medium first reaches the temperature by heating the solid material, then the cold medium is heated by the solid material, so as to achieve the purpose of heat transfer.

3. Plate and tube heat exchanger

This kind of heat exchanger uses a large amount, accounting for more than 99% of the total amount. The principle is that the heat is transferred by the hot medium to the cold medium through metal or non-metal heat transfer equipment. This kind of heat exchanger is commonly known as shell and tube, plate, plate warping or plate shell heat exchanger.
